Have been academically involved with a number of projects.

Have presented more than 200 scientific papers in National and International meetings. This included orations, guest lectures and scientific papers of clinical importance in the field of cardiac surgery.

• K.N.Dastur oration at the Annual meeting of Indian Association of Cardiovascular Surgery-Mumbai 2013.
• Dr. K. G. Deshpande Memorial oration on 7/10/2018 at Nagpur
• Performed live surgical procedures for a variety of complex cardiac surgeries. Latest at Ahmedabad Aortic Conclave-performed live Bentall Procedure.
• Published more than 170 surgical papers in national and international journals.
• Described two operative techniques, TAPVC repair and another for coarctation of aorta with type B Dissection published in Annals of Thoracic Surgery and Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery- both leading journals on cardiac surgery published from United States of America.
• Supervised the dissertations of 12 post graduates while at All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
• Contributed chapters in six books.
• Life member of Indian Association of Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Life member of Pediatric Cardiac Society of India.
• Member of Cardiothoracic Surgery Network ,USA.
• Fellow of Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons, F.I.A.C.S
